Keep Alachua County Beautiful -Logo Redesign
For my Craft of Visual Communications class, we had the opportunity to work directly with a client to create a new logo for the Keep America Beautiful affiliate.

The Ask: The client requested something modern, playful and communicative of the organization's different functions while being distinctive from other affiliates

Rationale: In order for the logo to be recognizable, I chose two main environmental components of Alachua County: Spanish moss and the alligator. These elements not only quickly identify the county but they also represent the organization's environmental conservation efforts.
Graphics: In the logo, one can see that there is two alligators, this is meant to represent the togetherness and community fostered by Keep Alachua County Beautiful
Colors: The colors are simple and representative of the main natural colors found in nature, giving it a modern monochromatic look while keeping the natural color palette.
Font: This logo uses BEBAS NEUE. It's bold, modern and allows for readability no matter the scale, color or background.
